Training and Certification for Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

 

The IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS course provides a complete review of the industry consensus for acceptance criteria for wire and cable harnesses.  The classroom lecture and 600+ slide presentation is enhanced with a variety of workmanship samples, crimping and soldering demonstrations and classroom discussions. 

 

The entire course is 8 modules in all.  Module 1 is the prerequisite for the course.  The rest of the modules are optional allowing companies to choose only the modules that meet their respective requirements.

 

Each day the students will be tested on the material covered prior to being tested.  The modules covered are listed below.
